Thrilled to officially mark the construction of Mathura-Vrindavan's 250 MTPD Material Recovery Facility (MRF) under ParikraM, in partnership with Mathura Vrindavan Nagar Nigam and supported by the Alliance to End Plastic Waste - another win for circularity! This resilient and tech-enabled infrastructure will bridge the gap in mismanaged plastic waste in the city and has the capability to segregate even mixed Municipal Solid Waste and channel it to recycling and other end-of-life solutions. Through this MRF, we will collect and process 40,000+ MTs of #plasticwaste in the next 10 years, along with the creation of 100+ green jobs and formalization of 1000+ waste value chain members.
